Alas it was not meant to be...
People who read the manga of Ocarina of Time can start crying now Q-Q and for those who haven't... SPOILERS In a flashback in the manga during the fight with Volvagia Link buys baby Volvagia in the castle market and sets him free. But Volvagia follows Link around and eventually saves him from a monster. Then Link says something like "From now on we'll always be friends." (btw Volvagia can say Link's name which in turn strengthens their bond). But after the flashback Volvagia is being controlled by Ganondorf and Sheik says the only way to free Volvagia from the curse is to kill him. Link tries to get Volvagia to remember him but his efforts are in vein...then he shoots Volvaia's eye with an arrow and cuts his head off. And in the end Volvagia's severed head utters the word "Li...nk" :< And if that's not bad enough a few chapters later in the Desert of Illusions Link has a hallucination of Volvagia crying "Link! It Hurts Link!" T^T poor little Volvagia..... Well as you can see I've been reading LoZ: Ocarina of Time :3 I've always loved Volvagia and he will always remain my favorite boss in the game....But I wanted to smack Link in the head for killing him even though it couldn't be avoided....I can't draw clouds Q-Q |
